Week 8

This past week since the last post, we shared with the class what our project about.  Since it is hard for me to talk in front of a crowd. Alexis did most of the talking and explaining the project to the class.  We have been discussing what to post on our blog. We have been occupied with tremendously long practices in the cold weather at night, and lots of homework as our friend. I would like to post a Holiday blog post on our account Life as a Colorguard Member.  I would like to post about how it is so relaxing to not have practice and spend Christmas or any other Holiday that is around this time of year. School is almost out for break and we are so excited to spend the break with our friends and family.  Alexis and I are both is Varsity, we finished our drill yesterday. We are both excited about Winterguard and how the season is going so far. This season for me is going to be way different from last winter season. I was in varsity last year too and it was just less stressful and  less disappointing. Hopefully it will be a better season than I expect.

Week 7

This week is going to be hard to on my group member, Alexis, and I. We are going to have to re-arrange how we post pictures and schedule when we post on ,our blog, Life as a Colorguard Member. Mikayla  moved schools so now we do not have  a person to take pictures of our Colorguard while we are at practice. It is like a juggling act that Alexis and I are going to have to do. We are both in Colorguard and it is going to be a challenging thing to juggling. Between our school, practice, and a ton of homework. Practice barely leaves us time to even do a glimpse of our homework that teachers just love to give us, especially on our love practice days where we barley time to eat  once we get home. Juggling will be hard but not impossible for us since we do this juggling act all the time.

Week 5

Recently we put our first post on our blog up. The blog was that we got sweeps and high auxiliary in the Chaffey Tournament.  Our Colorguard has gotten so far with what we had stared from. We stared with girls and guys that had know clue how to do anything and didn't try as hard to do things, but now our group has had our way to first place with trying their hardest to be the best colorguard that we can be. On the blog, we talking about our colorguard's achievements that we have made through out the season and leading up to winning our trophies. We are hoping to regularly post on the blog every week. We hope to have a schedule so that you guys will know when we are going to post and see the newest post, to make through a day in the life of colorguard members.

Week 2

This week my group and I are going to post a Funny or/ and inspirational colorguard meme. In class my group member Mikayla and I we're discussing what we going to post on the other blog, Life as a Colorguard member. Alexis I are so pumped to be sharing and creating new and fun colorguard memes to share with the blog.  Alexis and I had a competition this last Saturday. The competition was a blur but everything else was amazing our school got second place. I was thinking of posting a couple pictures on this blog of the competition and them make them in to a meme. Colorguard is my drive to be the best I  can possibly be, and show people that with all the hard work guard puts in we make a wonderful show. While all that we have the most fun and making memories. Colorguard is my family and through this blog I will show you how we become one and the funny things Guardies say about everything.

Week 3

This week we had a competition on Saturday, October 19,2013. At that competition we worked so hard and we won Sweepstakes. For those who do not know what that is, Sweeps is higher that 1st place. We won the highest of all the Colorguard's there. On the other blog Life as a Colorguard Member we are in the process pf finishing our first blog. We are discussing recent events in Colorguard, events that are coming up and that are to come. Colorguard is my life and  it is exciting to share events and things that are to come! Sweeps was one of the greatest accomplishments of the colorguard so far. Life as a Colorguard Member is the place where the bloggers get to express our love and ability to love the sport of the arts. It is the outlet of our and of other Colorguard members. Right now we have and Instagram account that is practically the same thing but only with most pictures.

Day 1

My project is about Colorguard I am working with my classmates, Alexis and Mikayla. We are making a blog about Colorguard Memes. We plan to post every week. Hopefully to inspire people who are in colorguard and even to those who are not  in colorguard. We want to make people understand why colorguard is to fun to be in yet at the same time why colorguard is just like any other sport there is. Colorguard is a sport of the arts, we are a team and one big family, we are here for each other just like any other family. I already have an Instagram with other guard  members at my school. My classmate and colorguard member Alexis and I wanted to incorporate colorguard in some way with our twenty percent project. So we decided to do something like our Instagram account. I want people who are not in colorguard to know how colorguard humor is and enjoy with that make guards laugh. That is what my project is on.
